The ENDURA Engraving System
Several years ago, Herman purchased a high-speed engraving system for Karen when she became quite ill and could no longer work with him on their wood yard. There was little doubt as to her excitement as she spent a few weeks drawing designs to engrave before she even turned this system for the first time. Unfortunately, this expensive system “died” after only a few short months. This served as the beginning for the ENDURA Engraving System.
Knowing the components that were needed, the next few months were consumed with sourcing quality components, researching pneumatics and pneumatic tools in general, and developing a system that would put up with what we later discovered to be “torturous” engraving. Once we had the components, the remaining item needed was a hand piece and when we bad that in hand, we felt we were ready. It didn't happen quite that way, and Karen ended up burning up six turbines over the next week and a half — so something needed changing, so change we did. We were able to contact the manufacturer of the hand piece who agreed to make some modifications to the hand piece and once these changes were made, the hand piece held up to
the engraving admirably but it wasn't quite there. Karen soon found the component missing for the system and with its addition, we soon realized that we had what we had been searching for a system that was reliable, one that could hold up to hours of engraving at a time, one that was comfortable to use, and one that bad the power to do what Karen asked of it as well as the ability to operate at various rpms — even “Zero PSI” as Karen calls it for her “step down technique” of engraving — and do exactly what is needed.
Well now that we had the system we needed we started wondering if it would sell...
It wasn't long before we had the answer to that question because sell it did! What was more, all that we had learned about the system and all that Karen had learned, and continues to learn about high-speed engraving, we pass on to customers for the simple reason that if you understand how something operates, it sets the stage for being able to push the limits of your creativity.
Our critics have called our quality components “overkill” but when you consider the fact that we have not had any systems returned, that we have not had any systems or hand-pieces fail to perform, we don't consider that “overkill”, we think of it as “reliability”. We even have critics who have purchased our system and use its components while they market other systems! All in all, it truly makes no difference as we know that we have a once in a lifetime purchase for you that won't break you financially, that has a one year warranty on the system, and one that we stand behind period — no doubt about it — we have nothing to apologize for with the ENDURA! The ENDURA Engraving System is the perfect and final step up for those who have been using other systems.
