Fort Worth Texas artist, has pereservered through physical hardship and emu farming to find himself the premier portrait artist whose medium of cjoice is emu eggshells. Having a background in carpentry and Cherokee blood flowing through his veins, Gary saw some carved emu eggs at a show and began working on emn eggs. Several broken shells later, Gary finally began to get the hang of the engraving, but it wasn't until he purchased the ENDURA engraving system that his work took on a wealth of details and a richness of textures using the inherent colors of the emu egg.
